A special Dutch farm cheese made from raw Jersey cow milk. The taste is complex and strong, but pure and full. The crust is made from homemade Ghee and has a loose structure. Because of the 13 months aging process, cristals are formed in the cheese who add a sensational crunch. Nonetheless the cheese is still very cuttable. The horned Jersey cows give extra rich fatty milk, which you can taste. Farm “De Groote Voort” has already won multiple national and international prices with his Olde Remeker.
